Thrissur, June 6: The All India Students' Federation (AISF) and the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) on Saturday expressed strong solidarity with the ongoing student protests demanding accountability over alleged irregularities in the NEET and CBSE examinations.

Addressing a solidarity meeting organised in Guruvayur, AISF State Secretary A. Adhin said that the concerns raised by students across the country over examination irregularities cannot be ignored and called for immediate corrective measures to restore confidence in the education system.

The meeting was presided over by AIYF District President Binoy Shabeer, who reiterated the organisations' demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding the Centre accountable for the repeated controversies surrounding national examinations.

The organisations also extended their support to the joint student-youth protest held at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, where students and youth raised their voices demanding transparency, accountability, and justice for aspirants affected by the alleged irregularities.

Leaders condemned the reported attacks on CPI leaders Annie Raja and Nisha Sidhu, as well as AISF and AIYF activists who had gathered to express solidarity with the protesting students. They demanded strict action against those responsible for the attacks.

Among those who addressed the gathering were AIYF State Joint Secretary Prasad Pareri and Kerala Mahila Sangham District Secretary K.S. Jaya, along with several student and youth leaders.

The meeting concluded with a call to safeguard the interests of students, ensure fair and transparent examination processes, and hold those responsible for examination irregularities accountable. AIYF and AISF reaffirmed their commitment to stand alongside students in their struggle for an equitable and trustworthy education system.
